Your offer doesn't suck, but this is the problem... Ask yourself, when was the last time you bought from someone who COLD DM'd you? Maybe never, maybe once or twice, but it's rare... so why do people keep doing it? There's a whole thing on the law of large numbers here, but let's not get into that today. People Cold DM with the hopes that they some how stumble upon the 3% of people in the market who are ready to buy. Cold DMs are actually less about what you say and more about timing. I bought from a YT agency from a cold DM because that very week I was thinking about hiring one. A little luck, a little hard work. But we're not focusing on Cold DMs today, we're focusing in on your offer. A question that you have to ask yourself with your offer is this: "Am I creating Demand or Am I channeling/capturing existing demand?" How hard do you think it was for the first person selling Whiskey? "Hey, here's this stinky brown water that will make you feel different, but leave ya with a massive headache tomorrow" Now days it's simple: "Buy fancy brown water, seem cool" This is because the demand has been created and the companies are just channelling and capturing it. This is why I believe in "addition offers" vs. "create/build offers" It's also due to the fact that adding to something, means the client already has something. Example in our Client Accelerator Offer: Add 5-10 clients using our system (yes there's more to it, but that's the jist) Because people think a "new fancy" offer is the way to go, but people aren't buying that, they're buying what you can add. But they're also buying the new or different way of doing things, which is YOUR way. Another reason why this approach works so well, is that the person who resonates with this, is already actively trying to achieve what you are proposing with your offer. They already WANT what you have, you just have to capture it. A guy messaged me and said: "Start-up SAAS founders aren't buying my ghostwriting services" I simply said: "Change who you go after" Because of course they're not buying, they're a start-up, but also they're not doing what you're trying to help them with. So the level of change they'd have to go through to even start working with you is to much to overcome. The only people who can create demand are doing so on a mass market level. The best example was Tai Lopez and his Lamborgini in my garage video... where he created demand for SMMA. So Papa Fox, what the hell are you saying to me? and why are you emailing me before my coffee? I'm saying that your offer and messaging is likely off because you're selling something that isn't wanted. Yes what you do is fantastic, yes your offer may be the best thing since sliced bread... but is it creating demand or capturing it? Probably the former, because some guy on the internet said you need to have this fancy offer. Simplify and subtract by channeling and adding... I think that makes sense. I did this for a "tech-support" offer a week ago, and since then they went from not selling to selling 4 x $3k+ packages... This stuff works.... and it works fast, if done right. In Client Accelerator, that's the first thing I'll do with you, is build this thing the right way. And once you have the right offer, built in the right way, you will be able to create content, send emails, send dms or you could even just use one of those tactics... but with far more effect and... dollar bucks in your piggy bank... I have a clear week... so if you want this and want it set up right from the jump reply to this with the word "Add" and we can chat about what this looks like for you, right here in email... It's a good day to have a damn good day, so let's make it happen... Chat Soon, Jason C Fox |
