Sell more stuff with a Small Audience

"You don't need an audience bro, you just gotta sell stuff bro"

-- Some guy on X, who probably has a big audience

Papa Fox is here to show you a different, a better and a simpler way to generate sales without the big audience, and without having to fork out a kings ransom on ads... oh without sending: "Are you opposed to me sending over a case study?"

My Wife tells me often: "Honey, size doesn't matter"

Which is weird, because she has no idea about the digital marketing space, yet some how knows how to make sales without a big audience... I'm assuming that's why she says this to me every few days. She's super smart.

There's nothing wrong with the big ones... big audiences that is. I'm not opposed to growing an audience, I'm currently not the best at it, so while I up-skill my audience growth techniques, I will stay focused on generating sales with my... "Tiny Audience".

So how exactly do I do that? And how exactly can you do the same?

Now, I need you to be patient here... because this stuff isn't revolutionary, but it will help you in a big way if applied correctly.

There are 3 elements you need to generate sales from a small audience.

  1. Offer, Messaging, Branding
  2. Client Acquisition Systems
  3. Sales Eco-System

I enrolled a client last week, we had our onboarding call recently. He has a 'good' offer... but if I'm being honest it's a bit of a commodity in the space. So yes we made the offer stand out, but there's only so much you can do.

Instead we focused on the messaging and branding. We specifically targeted an audience which is need, but under-served.

We focused on understanding their pain points, and then creating content to illustrate those BUT... and this is where people get it wrong...

We aren't saying things like: "Bro, let me do the work so you have more time"

We illustrate that time saving is a by-product and a forgone conclusion of working with us... this is second order consequence content. Which works for smart people who ask the questions like "and then what?" I could write a whole book on this, but for another time.

Then we move on to Client Acquisition Systems, we have clients doing DMs, Email, Ads (yes I know I said you don't need to, and you don't but they can work here) and even organic content direct to a sales page.

Our focus here is creating a process where we know the journey from not knowing us, to paying us big dollar bucks.

We call these system sales, and that's our focus. Create sales that follow our system, not dumb luck sales.

Funny thing is, the by-product of system sales is a hell of a lot more dumb luck sales...

Finally, we move to creating a sales eco-system. This has 2-parts, internal and external.

Internally I nerd out and help with creating CRMs, KPIs, accountability etc. Last week, we had a bill, I asked "who can pay for this?" - I looked through my CRM, found a few people, made them an offer and now we don't have that bill...

Externally, it's about creating an environment where someone is constantly seeing how damn good you are at your craft and how other people... like a lot of other people think so to.

These systems create "Lead-Efficiency" where a lead is worth 10x to us as it is to someone else, because we have a higher likely hood of converting them, but we also have a higher LTV on every lead ($30k+)...

So My wife has a point: "Size doesn't matter"

She says some thing like "It's how you use it, honey"

Which is again surprising that she knows so much about digital marketing... anyway... you should listen to her.

With each stage of our offers you get a 1-1 call with me, where we begin mapping out this whole system.

This has worked for clients with 100k+ followers and clients with 0k (is that a thing?) followers.

So F*ck followers and let's focus on sales...

If you want to get this in your biz... reply to this with the word: "SIZE" and I'll shoot you back a quick message with an offer which I think is appropriate for you.

Anyway, going to talk to my wife about how she knows so much about audience size...

Your offer doesn't suck, but this is the problem... Ask yourself, when was the last time you bought from someone who COLD DM'd you? Maybe never, maybe once or twice, but it's rare... so why do people keep doing it? There's a whole thing on the law of large numbers here, but let's not get into that today. People Cold DM with the hopes that they some how stumble upon the 3% of people in the market who are ready to buy. Cold DMs are actually less about what you say and more about timing. I...
